Carly isn't the type of girl who dreamed about what her wedding would be like when she was growing up. She kind of wishes she was, because this whole planning thing might be easier if she had an idea of what was going on. Luckily, she's got a mom and a future mom-in-law who've done the whole wedding thing before. They constantly plague her with questions about has she planned for this, and did she think of that, for which she is very grateful, because she hasn't :) All in all, she thinks things are starting to get exciting now that the big terrifying things are mostly taken care of.

I’ve heard from several people that they’ve tried to book rooms and haven’t been quoted the reduced rate.  I looked into this and got an answer!  See the Guest FAQ section under Crowne Plaza Information for details!

So, after a couple months of relaxing, breathing, and generally not doing anything other than telling people that we’re getting married on October 4th, we’ve once again put our noses to the grindstone.  Realizing that the wedding is in less than two months is a little scary and a little exciting, and an effective flame [...]

So…we’ve been busy. As of now, we seem to have a DJ, a ceremony site, a reception place, catering for said reception, a photographer (!) and most recently a honeymoon (I’m excited about that one.).
Maybe this whole wedding thing isn’t so hard after all. Of course, there’s still flowers, decorations, bridesmaids dresses, gifts, [...]
